My name is -Kannelmäki is community project in the area of Helsinki called Kannelmäki. Sari Palmgren has been choreographer, dancer and dance video director of the project since it started 2012.

2012

My name is -Vuosaari community project was happening in the area of Helsinki called Vuosaari. Autumn 2012 was many workshops with different age groups and communities. Performance with 80 local people from different backgrounds and age groups was 18.12.2012 at Vuotalo.

Sari Palmgren directed and edited 17 videos together with the artistic director Jenni Koistinen, soundesigner Tuomas Norvio and cinematographer Päivi Kettunen. 

2013

My Name is- Performances with 90 local people from different backgrounds and age groups were 5.-11.12.2013 at Kanneltalo. Sari Palmgren directed and edited 17 videos together with the artistic director Jenni Koistinen, soundesigner Tuomas Norvio and cinematographer Päivi Kettunen. 

2014

Different workshops and happenings were hold in the area of Kannelmäki to get the know better the area and local people. Sari Palmgren was organizing dance video workshop, Mamuska-Kannelmäki event in local pub and flashmob in the Kaari shopping mall.

2015

Sari Palmgren was dancer in Kotimatkalla performance, which was choreographed by Jenni Koistinen. It was journey in Kannelmäki area through different local homes.  

Sari Palmgren is directing Homevideo dance film together with local participants sound designer Tuomas Norvio and cinematographer Päivi Kettunen. Premiere is going to be at Kanneltalo Gallery 9.12.2015

2016

Sari Palmgren had environment movement- workshop in Kanneltalo, CLUB-event in february and december with DJ Tuomas Norvio and Flash mob workshop with Jukka Tarvainen. Flash mob workshop was project about art, movement and activism. In the autumn 2016 local participants organized six different flash mobs around Helsinki.
